WORKPLACE CONDUCT

All employees should be committed to the Company’s values and standards of conduct. Our values and standards are based on respect for all individuals. Our business decisions are guided by these standards.


While we prefer to keep rules and regulations to a minimum, we expect our employees to follow certain rules of conduct that are necessary to protect the interests and safety of all employees and the Company. It is not possible to list all forms of behavior that are considered unacceptable in the workplace. While your employment is based on mutual consent and may be terminated by either party, with or without cause, the activities listed below are particular actions that will likely result in discipline, up to and including termination. This list is not all inclusive but examples of actions which are considered unacceptable:


1. Making malicious, false, or derogatory statements that may damage the reputation of any person or our clients;
2. Withholding pertinent information or providing false or misleading statements to the Company’s management while applying for employment or during the course of employment;

3. Theft, deliberate destruction, abuse, or unauthorized possession of the Company’s property or funds, or any other malicious or careless act causing property damage, accidents or expense;
4. Falsifying the Company’s documents and records such as time sheets, accounting reports, expense reports, accident reports, personnel data, or other the Company’s documents and records;
5. Refusing to follow the specific instructions of your immediate supervisor or another manager;
6. Failure, inability, or refusal to perform assigned duties or performing job duties in an unsatisfactory, careless or negligent fashion;
7. Verbal or physical abuse, harassment of, or discrimination against coworkers or clients;
8. Using the Company’s resources for personal use during working time, including playing
video games, Internet browsing, or other computer-related activities;
9. Unauthorized use, release or disclosure of confidential information regarding the Company or any other matter for which the Company has been retained;
10. Discourteous behavior to any client, supplier, vendor, or visitor to the Company;
11. A pattern of excessive absences or tardiness, excused or unexcused;
12. Unprofessional conduct, including disorderly conduct, gambling, indecent language, or immoral acts;
13. Horseplay, wrestling or fighting;
14. Threatening behavior toward coworkers, clients or management;
15. Dishonesty;
16. Possession, sale, purchase, distribution, consumption, or being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances in violation of the Company’s policy;
17. Unauthorized possession of explosives, firearms, or other weapons;
18. Tampering with the Company’s equipment or facilities, including removing safety devices from equipment or facilities;
19. Failing to comply with safety or security policies and procedures, or other conduct endangering the safety or health of others;
20. Participation in illegal activities or violation of state, federal, or local laws and regulations
including, but not limited to, wage/hour and work safety laws;
21. Transporting unauthorized people in the Company’s vehicle or operating the Company’s commercial vehicles without permission or the proper, valid driver’s license;
22. Soliciting or accepting gratuities from clients;
23. Violation of the Company’s policies or procedures;
24. Misconduct of any kind not otherwise specified; and/or
25. Conviction of a criminal offense.
