RECOGNITION AND INCENTIVES

Recognition and feedback is important to FSS. We strive to appreciate our employees, expecting and encouraging them to take part in their own professional development.
 

Employees who participate in two approved safety or skill advancement/continuing education courses in a calendar year will be entered into a prize drawing to be held at the Year-End Safety Review.
 

Fred Shearer & Sons also encourages, and provides recognition incentives for feedback and communication from employees in the following:

 

  • Recognizing each other (peer to peer).

  • Volunteering suggestions to help solve problems on a jobsite.

  • Submitting ideas and innovations to help us improve as a company.

Annually we will hold a Safety Break for Oregon Training Session & BBQ during work hours. All employees will be required to attend. “Safety Break” t-shirts and raffle prizes will be handed out during the training session.
