We rely on the abilities and skills of all our staff to assist with the delivery of quality services. All employees bring specific talents and skills to their work that are beneficial to the Company’s operation. Those talents and skills are best fostered and encouraged in an atmosphere that is respectful, courteous and professional.


It is important that all employees benefit from an enjoyable work environment. For this to occur, all employees must treat each other with consideration and respect.


Behavior that is embarrassing, discourteous, unprofessional or disrespectful, directed toward a coworker, is unacceptable. Any employee who believes he/she has been subjected to such conduct is encouraged to report it to any member of management. The matter will be carefully considered and appropriate action will be taken. Nothing in this policy intended or should be construed to infringe on our employees’ Section 7 rights under the NLRA. Fred Shearer & Sons, Inc. does not interfere with, restrain, or prevent employee communications regarding wages, hours, or other terms and conditions of employment. Our employees have the right to engage in or refrain from such activities.
